We Lit Hungry Minds is a children’s book review platform where young readers can share their honest opinions, celebrate the books they love, and help others discover their next great read. Founded in 2017 by LaDonna N. Smith, this book club was created to give children a voice in the world of books and encourage a lifelong love of reading.

 

Now revamped as part of We Lit Academy, We Lit Hungry Minds Children's Book Club continues that mission by bringing readers, books, and meaningful conversations together in a space where young voices matter. Children—and occasionally parents—are invited to share their thoughts, rate their reads, and offer genuine reviews that help other families discover books worth exploring.

 

We believe children are more than readers; they are critics, storytellers, and influential voices in their own literary journeys. Whether a book makes them laugh, teaches them something new, helps them see themselves on the page, or introduces them to a world beyond their own, every reading experience has a story worth sharing.
